In this role you will be responsible in ensuring efficient and effective warehouse operations, delivering superior service to clients while optimizing costs and maintaining a high level of productivity and safety with multi location responsibility.
Warehouse Operations:
Effectively manage and coordinate warehouse operations across multiple locations, ensuring consistency in processes, standards, and performance. Collaborate with warehouse managers at each location to align objectives, share best practices, and drive operational excellence.
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement strategic plans for warehouse operations in alignment with overall business goals and customer requirements (SLA). Coordinate with warehouse managers to establish performance metrics, monitor KPIs, and ensure the achievement of operational targets.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Oversee the performance of multiple warehouses by analyzing data, monitoring KPIs, and preparing regular reports. Evaluate warehouse performance against set benchmarks, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Resource Allocation:
Optimize resource allocation across multiple warehouse locations, including staffing, equipment, and space. Collaborate with warehouse managers to determine optimal resource utilization and make recommendations for improvement.
Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs):
Establish standardized operating procedures (SOPs) across all warehouse locations to ensure consistency, efficiency, and compliance. Work closely with warehouse managers to train and enforce adherence to SOPs, promoting uniformity in operations.
Continuous Improvement:
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation, identifying areas for optimization, and implementing process enhancements across all warehouse locations. Encourage warehouse managers to actively contribute to improvement initiatives and share best practices.
Client Relations:
Build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their specific needs and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction. Act as a primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing regular updates on warehouse operations.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize the end-to-end supply chain.
Training and Development:
Identify training needs and provide training programs to warehouse staff to improve their skills and knowledge. Promote a culture of continuous learning and development to enhance the capabilities of the warehouse team.
